Grub> help default default: default [NUM ¦ 'saved' ¦ FILE] set the default entry to entry number NUM (if not specified, it is 0, the first entry), or to the entry number saved by savedefault if the key word 'saved' is specified, or to the entry number previously saved in the specified file FILE. When FILE is specified, all subsequent 'savedefault' commands will save default entry numbers into FILE. Although the default [NUM] parameter works within a configuration file, using default saved does not.
